The colours themselves were picked by Gwen and are exactly what I would have expected from her. The first two rows of five colours are all very neutral and as a huge fan of the Urban Decay Naked series, I am not disappointed with the excellent quality of these brown and nude shades either. The third and bottom row is a little more ‘out there’, with a bright pink, blue and yellow. I can certainly imagine Gwen blending the first ten colours on an every day basis, then adding a pop of bright colour to make a statement for a performance or night on the red carpet.

Gwen Stefani Eyeshadow Palette  includes fifteen eyeshadows--twelve that are new, three that are repromotes--housed in a compact palette. It's a good palette filled with mostly warm-toned neutrals in light and medium shades. The pops of color make it a little less typical, but I'm not sure they were the most suitable shades for this palette.
