First, you’ll recognise notes of neroli and bay leaf, followed by cedar wood, patchouli, saffron and jasmine. The base notes of leather and myrrh will stay on your skin the longest.

Guerlain Bois Mystérieux is part of the Les Absolus d’Orient line of warm oriental fragrances which capture the beauty of the East. They’re built on top-quality ingredients dominated by rare woods and spices.
Bois Mystérieux contains notes of rare saffron, specially created for the Absolus d’Orient collection by perfumer Thierry Wasser. This exceptionally rare note is obtained from saffron blossoms which have to be collected within 48 hours before they wilt.
Top notes: Laurels and Neroli.
Middle notes: Atlas Cedar, Patchouli and Jasmine.
Base notes: Myrhh and Leather.

Suggested Usage:
Fragrance is intensified by the warmth of your own body. Apply in the creases of your knees and elbows for a longer-lasting, stronger scent. After applying, avoid rubbing or dabbing skin. This breaks down the fragrance, causing it to wear off more quickly. If you prefer placing fragrance on your wrists, be sure to reapply after frequent hand-washing, as this tends to rinse off the scent.
