- About the brand
Amouage Decision is a clean, woody fragrance for men and women that smells cool and mineral. Frankincense and bergamot give it a crisp, citrus freshness at the start, and vanilla warms the base without making it sweet or heavy. It reads sharp and tidy rather than soft.
Perfect for you if…
- You need a clean scent for work and meetings.
- You prefer fresh fragrances with a little warmth underneath.
- You are choosing between a sharp scent and a soft one.

Why you'll love it
- A fresh, clean start. Citrus and mineral notes feel bright on the skin.
- A polished middle. Cedar adds a smooth woody sheen.
- A warm landing. Vanilla rounds off the ending gently, so it never turns harsh.
- Open to anyone. Nothing about its character is gendered.
Frequently asked questions
What is the difference between Amouage Decision and Purpose 50?
Decision is brighter, with a citrus-mineral sparkle and vanilla; Purpose 50 is earthier and more resinous, with sand vetiver, suede and a 50% oil dose.
What are the notes of Amouage Decision?
Pink pepper, bergamot and cardamom on top; frankincense, juniper and myrrh in the heart; patchouli, cedarwood and vanilla at the base.
Is Amouage Decision for summer or winter?
Both. The cool, mineral opening keeps it fresh in the heat, and the vanilla base gives it warmth when it turns cold.
Is Amouage Decision unisex?
Yes. It is made for any wearer, and Amouage does not label it for one gender.
