Y Le Parfum by Yves Saint Laurent is a Amber Fougere fragrance for men. This is a new fragrance. Y Le Parfum was launched in 2021. Forget about the opinions of anyone around you. Yves Saint Laurent Y Le Parfum Eau de Parfum for men will become a symbol of experimentation, of unexpected decisions and changes you want to make to your life. When they ask “Why?”, you’ll know that the right question is “Why not?”
- fougère fragrance with oriental and woody notes
- a deep and intense take on the original Yves Saint Laurent Y Eau de Toilette
- introduced in 2021
Composition of the fragrance: The opening notes refresh your senses with a combination of green apple and the clean scent of aldehydes. They create a sensual contrast with frankincense that comes out especially in the drydown. After the fresh top notes fade, you’ll fully appreciate the scent of geranium and lavender with their exceptionally clean character. Cedar wood and frankincense in the base notes form a dark contrast, giving the fragrance a striking depth and sensuality.
Story of the fragrance: Yves Saint Laurent Y Le Parfum joined the Y by Yves Saint Laurent line of perfumes and became the deepest and most intense of them all. Its author Dominique Ropion created a fragrance which reflects a free, independent spirit and the courage to make decisions regardless of anyone else’s opinions.
About the bottle: The intensity of this fragrance is reflected in the dark bottle with the characteristic Y. Its lines and the overall design are very elegant and masculine, just like the fragrance itself. Its character is impeccably personified by Lenny Kravitz – an artist who embodies the question “Y not?”.
Top notes: Apple, Aldehydes, Grapefruit and Ginger.
Middle notes: Sage, Lavender and Geranium.
Base notes: Tonka Bean, Cedar, Olibanum and Patchouli.
